Lal Krishna Advani is a prominent leader of the BJP. In fact, according to Vajpayee, he is the best known face of the BJP in the Indian political horizon. This party later transformed into the BJP. The first part of the book above all, hisPeriod in Karachi and the influence of the RSS on it makes interesting reading. He expressed his disappointment with the Congress party for its perceived failure to prevent partition and commends the work of the RSS during the difficult days of 1947 when India was on fire with the Hindu-Muslim riots. Advani also involving the bombing of 1947 in Karachi, where there were some Hindu Sindhi leaders.
